Starting from November 1st, Kristina Naaber will take up the position of Manager of Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu. The current Manager, Piret Pihel, will finish her work at the Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu in October to focus on new projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI am grateful to the owners of S\u00fcdamekodud, my colleagues, and partners for their trust and support. We have had a strong team that has shared both joy and challenges together. Now it is time for me to move on to new challenges \u2014 by nature I am a developer, and I feel the time is right to bring new ideas to life in other projects,\u201d said Piret Pihel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The first clients of Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu were welcomed at the end of August 2019, and by the end of that year, there were already over 50 residents. Today, Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu is the largest nursing home on the island, with 104 clients and more than 50 employees. \u201cThese six and a half years have been an active and rewarding journey. The new Manager will inherit a well-functioning and united team. I truly hope that my work will be continued with the same heartfelt dedication,\u201d added Piret Pihel.<\/p>\n \u201cUnder Piret\u2019s leadership, Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu has made remarkable progress. She has built a nursing home highly valued by residents and their families \u2014 for its environment, quality of service, and warm atmosphere. Piret guided Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu through the challenging COVID period and has been a leader with heart and dedication, leaving a lasting mark on the entire Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu family. We are sincerely grateful to her for that,\u201d said Meelis M\u00e4lberg<\/strong>, Member of the Management Board of S\u00fcdamekodud AS.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is a great honor and responsibility to take on the role of Manager in a nursing home that Piret has built with heart and dedication. This is a home filled with care, warmth, and a strong team \u2014 values that I am determined to carry forward,\u201d said Kristina Naaber<\/strong>, Manager of Saaremaa S\u00fcdamekodu. She added that her main goal is to preserve and strengthen the positive spirit, ensuring that all residents feel safe and cared for, and that employees can perform their work with joy and peace of mind. \u201cI also wish to focus on cooperation with the local community and on making our home an even more open and integral part of life in Saaremaa.\u201d<\/p>\n Kristina Naaber holds a Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration from Tallinn University of Technology. Her previous professional experience includes long-term positions at Eesti Energia, Elektrilevi, and the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund.
