Talve will take up the position on 1 November.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Keiu Talve has worked at S\u00fcdamekodud since May 2021, when she joined the company as Quality Manager. Since January 2025, she has served as a Member of the Management Board of S\u00fcdamekodud, with responsibility for services and quality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u201cI am pleased that S\u00fcdamekodud will be led by someone from within the organisation who knows our residents, employees and the company\u2019s day-to-day operations very well,\u201d said <strong>Peter Lednick\u00fd<\/strong>, CEO of Penta Hospitals International, the owner of S\u00fcdamekodud. \u201cKeiu has an excellent understanding of both the S\u00fcdamekodud organisation and the Estonian care sector. She has made an invaluable contribution to developing the company\u2019s quality standards and services. Her appointment as CEO is a natural continuation of the work she has already done,\u201d Lednick\u00fd added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">According to <strong>Keiu Talve<\/strong>, one of her most important goals as CEO is to continue developing both the quality of services and the organisation as a whole. \u201cS\u00fcdamekodud has grown rapidly in recent years, and our responsibility has grown along with it. For me, every development and change begins with the question of how we can provide elderly people with the best possible living environment\u2014one that is safe and feels like home. High-quality care is built on professional and dedicated employees, and we invest in supporting and training them every day,\u201d Talve said.<\/p>\n<p>Until now, S\u00fcdamekodud has been managed jointly by Keiu Talve and Meelis M\u00e4lberg. M\u00e4lberg will continue working with S\u00fcdamekodud as an external partner and will be responsible for the continuation of the development projects already under way. Among other things, he will oversee the completion of the Tartu S\u00fcdamekodu extension, which will add 72 care home places for people with memory disorders in Tartu. Under the current schedule, construction work at Tartu S\u00fcdamekodu is expected to be completed in July 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince 2018, Meelis has made a significant contribution to the development and growth of S\u00fcdamekodud. We thank him for his work and are pleased that he will remain involved with S\u00fcdamekodud,\u201d Lednick\u00fd added.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00fcdamekodud is part of Penta Hospitals International, Central Europe\u2019s largest provider of healthcare and long-term social care.
