Care Home Welcomes Sheep to Delight Residents

In Setomaa, in the village of Saatse, Värska Südamekodu plans to bring a few sheep to the care home grounds this summer — they will both delight the residents and help keep the former school sports fields, now overgrown, neat and clean.
“We were thinking about how to make the area around the care home and the village more beautiful,” said Anti Haugas, the head of Värska Südamekodu. “There are old school sports fields here that we started mowing, but it’s quite a lot of work, so we thought it would be a good idea to bring in some sheep.”
