For Käru Südamekodu, the safety of people with dementia receiving general care services is of utmost importance. The special unit has been designed to be as safe and suitable as possible for people with dementia.
Käru Südamekodu’s efforts have been recognized by the Dementia Competence Center, which awarded the dementia-friendly institution label on January 10, 2023. Institutions that receive this label provide a homely and safe environment, daily activities and events, and ensure the well-being of clients at every stage.
Visiting hours 11:00–19:00. Recommended visiting times are 11:00, 14:00 and 15:00 every day of the week.

| ELDERLY CARE SERVICE LEVEL 4 Elderly Care Service level 4 is intended for residents diagnosed with dementia syndrome, assessed cognitive impairment (using the Mini-Mental test), a severe infection, or who suffer from a dependency disorder (e.g. alcoholism or drug addiction). The resident requires care, supervision and assistance with daily activities and self-care. | RESERVATION FEE The reservation fee applies if a vacant place is offered by Südamekodud and the prospective resident wishes to reserve the place without starting to use the service immediately. The level of care services is determined at the time of admission to the care service. The client, co-financier, and service provider participate in the process. If the need for care services changes, the price may also change according to the level and price list.
