Südamekodu Offers Rooms for Infected

The management of Saaremaa Südamekodu has proposed that all infected residents from other care homes who do not require hospitalization be transferred to their facility.
“Saaremaa Südamekodu is putting all of its current resources at the disposal of the municipal crisis committee to overcome the crisis. Any additional assistance to ensure the best possible protection of the lives and health of infected residents in Saaremaa Südamekodu and other care homes — particularly for medical staff — is essential,” said a member of the Südamekodu management board Martin Kukk.
According to him, the crisis can only be overcome together. “We have discussed this matter, and as I understand, the Saaremaa crisis committee views the plan positively,” said Kukk. He emphasized that it is also crucial to ensure that uninfected residents of Saaremaa Südamekodu remain safely isolated.
