Südamekodud Acquired the Piigaste Pansionaat

The nursing home operator Südamekodud has acquired the Piigaste nursing home. As of April 1, Piigaste Südamekodu operates in the Piigaste manor complex in Kanepi municipality, Põlva County, becoming the sixth care home in the group.
“Our goal is to provide care and leisure services for the elderly at Piigaste Manor with a quality standard above average. This means that the nursing home will gain additional staff and expand the range of services offered to the elderly,” said the director of Südamekodud Martin Kukk.
He added that Piigaste Südamekodu will develop its medical services and start looking for activity coordinators to organize leisure activities for the elderly.
With the acquisition of the nursing home, Südamekodud now has over 400 care places and employs more than 160 people.
